Intelligent Glass goes on air with TV2 Denmark

Denmark’s biggest network channel, TV2 Denmark, created a brand new high-tech studio to cover key sporting events in 2014.

And during its broadcasts for the Sochi Olympics, the Tour de France, the World Cup in Brasil and more, two of our front projection Switchable Smart Glass screens took pride of place.

Kristian Dreier, project manager at TV2 Denmark, says: “Intelligent Glass provided TV2 Denmark with a unique opportunity to make the new studio more transparent, light and interactive. Combined with a FURIO dolly system and the huge LED stage set we got exactly the look we wanted.”

The Switchable Glass panels, which turn from clear to frosted in the blink of an eye, can also be used as high-definition projection screens with extra wide viewing angles and super bright images.
